Here's a nice, simple, gray/silver GDM Theme with the GNOME Logo prominently displayed.
BTW, if you'd like the SVG artwork for any of my GDM themes, just download the tar.gz file - it's in them. All of the artwork in this theme is svg, besides the small bluecurve pixmaps for each button on the toolbar at the bottom. For best results, please useinkscape! ( [link] )
BUGS
====
- Widescreen support - should be a simple fix - right now the background images stretches on widescreen monitors.
- Pam error message alignment - a little flaky, should be a simple fix - need to vertically box together the login box and error messages.
Nice! The blue one is a bit bright in my opinion, but it's good for people switching from Winblows XP due to the similar colour scheme. Also good for something like edubuntu.
oh, and one small ntpick: all the shapes have the outline colored with a gradient, with an exception: the box for entering the user name/password, but this is a really minor inconsistency
