Yup, I'm waiting on some things before I can officially announce the license of the artwork is all. Once I can do that I'll release underwatermarked copies and the SVGs and everything.
I used Inkscape exclusively in making the certificate and shadows for the OS X Icons. For the USB device and for the lock, I actually took photos, used gthumb to import them, and then used the Gimp to clean them up contrast and levels-wise. Then I brought the photos into Inkscape and used them as a guide for the vector art. So my Gimp usage was minimal, but still helpful.
I have a curiosity: the OS X icons are the only where you used Gimp, so the question is for what was Gimp needed? My guess is the blur in shadows
